Latest Premier League Odds
The 2011/12 Premier League Odds is likely to be one of the most open and exciting for years, with a cluster of teams all featuring near the top of the odds comparison table below. The Premier League is without a doubt the most popular and exciting league in English Football Betting and the upcoming season promises to be a corker.
Following their unprecented 13th Premier League trophy Man United will start the new season as the favourites. However, it will be no easy task as Chelsea, now managed by Andre Villas-Boas, will be gunning to claim back the title they won back in 2010. Let's not forget big spending Man City, who have added the hugely talented Sergio Aguero to their ranks. United's bitter local rivals finished in an impressive 3rd place last season and will be looking to build on that progress this year.
Other teams who can rightly call themselves realistic title contenders include Liverpool and Arsenal. Liverpool have spent heavily in restructuring their squad in the last six months and have moulded together a high quality squad, with the likes of Andy Carroll, Luiz Suarez, Stuart Downing and Jordan Henderson among the recruits.
If Arsenal can hold onto inspirational captain Cesc Fabregas and star playmaker Samir Nasri, while at the same time bringing in a few high quality signings then their prospects ahead of the new season will look very good. However, Arsenal could find themselves short of their best players if Fagregas and Nasri decide to move away from the club, which would severely damage their title ambitions.
Tottenham will want a repeat of the 2009/10 season which saw them finish in the top four and gaining qualification for the Champions League. Harry Redknapp's men had a fantastic run in the competition last season, beating Italian giants AC and Inter Milan, and they will no doubt want to experience it once again by finishing in the top four this season, after finishing fifth last May.
